|  Hunters provide food for the pack; they’re known for their extensive knowledge of all the native animals, hunting tactics, and tracking. Quick on their paws, and with strong jaws, hunters are experts at taking down their prey.  Scouts serve as the eyes and ears of the pack, providing information about anything and everything that happens within the territory. They excel at traveling vast distances in a fast manner, their sharp eyes and ears constantly observing the world around them.  Guardians protect the pack from any threats, whether it be wild animals or dangerous wolves. They are also called upon to break up fights within the pack, and enforce orders passed down from the lead ranks. Often lacking in speed, they make up for it in brute strength.  Healers are responsible for the health of the pack, treating those who are sick or suffering from injuries. They spend most of their spare time out in the forest, looking for useful plants to aid in their endeavors. Another important duty is looking after the future generation of the pack, making sure the pups don’t get into too much trouble. The Following ranks can not be chosen, however, they can be earned.
Shamans are the spiritual leaders of the pack, offering counsel to all members who ask, and giving advice to the leadership as needed. Shamans are also responsible for hosting ceremonies in the pack, everything from announcing a new couple to celebrating a promotion in the ranks.
Betas serve as the second in command of the pack. They support the alphas as much as possible, and take command when they are away. Betas can take on many roles- helping the hunters with tracking prey to leading a scouting party. Much like the alphas, they can assign and lead missions.
Alphas serve as the leaders of the pack, tasked with ensuring a bright future and taking care of every member within the ranks; their main duty is to ensure the pack’s survival, steering them through dark times.
